BlogMob has been conceptualised by Mobile World as a platform for Samsung to interact with bloggers. It is a long term project with this being the first BlogMob event.
How did we come up with the name BlogMob? Well, we think bloggers are a pretty energetic group of people. Their enthusiasm is boundless and together they make up a pretty cool mob, which by the way can also be a short nick for ‘mobile’.
In our very first activity, we selected 16 Malaysian bloggers whom have spend one month with a Samsung mobile handsets. They used them in their daily lives and especially their blogging activities.
On top of the fun of trying out a brand new mobile phone, the bloggers won prizes at the end of the programme. No one went home empty handed.
The time is right for our second event. Samsung with Mobile World Magazine is organising a fun event this Nov 1st as part of the introduction of their latest mobile phone to Malaysia. The Samsung Innov8 phone is the world’s first 8 megapixel phone and participants will be the first in Malaysia to experience the multi-featured phone.
The event is aptly called The Innov8 Run and winners will walk away with an Samsung Innov8 phone. There are also lots of other prizes. If you would like to participate, drop us an email. Do note that places are limited and Samsung Malaysia will select the successful participants.
